Finalising the segment

Once you’ve added the rules or groups to define your segment, you’ll see two buttons at the bottom of the screen:

- Show Count

- Save

Show Count

Clicking on the Show Count button will give you insights into how many fans match the conditions you've set. The results include two important metrics:

1. Fan Counts:

- This section displays the total number of fans grouped according to the rules you've applied.

- Example: If you create a segment with rules such as:

- Fans who attended more than 3 matches this season.

- Fans who purchased merchandise in the last 6 months.

- Fans who opened at least 2 promotional emails.

After applying these rules, the system will show you the total number of fans who meet all the conditions (e.g., 1000 fans). Additionally, it will show what percentage this number represents compared to the total fan base (e.g., 1000 fans = 5% of your total fan base).

You will also see a breakdown of these fans into three categories:

- Known Fans: Fans for whom you have identifiable data, such as contact details.

- Reachable Fans: Fans that can be contacted via channels such as email, phone, or push notifications.

- Unknown Fans: Fans for whom you have limited or no data.

2. Reachability:

- The reachability section shows which channels are available to contact fans in this segment.

Channel

Description

Email

Represents the number of users with distinct email addresses that can be targeted from the segment. Each valid, reachable email is counted once.

Phone

Indicates the number of unique phone numbers available for users in the segment. This includes phone numbers eligible for communication.

Push Notification

Represents the number of unique FCM tokens mapped to users. Even if a user has multiple device tokens, reachability counts the user only once.
