Do Not Disturb (DND)

PreviousSettingsNextFrequency capping

Last updated 3 months ago

This setting allows you to define time slots when no campaigns will be sent to your audience.

DND helps avoid disruptions during certain hours, such as late at night or during non-peak engagement times.

By default, DND (Do Not Disturb) settings are enabled from 12 AM to 8AM to prevent messages from being sent during inappropriate times, ensuring a better user experience. However, users have the flexibility to disable DND settings for specific campaigns if required, based on their campaign objectives and user preferences or set a custom time based on their need and preferences.

Once DND is enabled, any campaigns scheduled to be sent during the DND period will be automatically re-scheduled after the specified DND time ends.

Campaigns set during DND time period will be sent one hour after the DND time ends. For example: If the DND time is set from 12 AM to 8 AM, and a user creates a campaign to be delivered at 7 AM, the campaign will not be sent immediately due to DND time setting, instead will be sent 1 hour after the DND time ends which is 9 AM.

  • Flexible Time Slots:

You can create up to 5 time slots for defining DND preferences (e.g., specific times of the day or week). However, only 3 slots can be enabled at a time.

  • Granular Control:

Daily:

Applies the DND time slot to every day.

Weekdays:

Limits messaging during the specified time from Monday to Friday.

Weekends:

Limits messaging during the specified time on Saturdays and Sundays.

Specific Days:

Configure DND settings for a particular day of the week (e.g., Sunday, Monday).

  • Time Range:

Define the time range using the From and To fields.

For example, set From 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM to avoid sending messages during late-night hours.

  • Enable/Disable Slots:

You can toggle the DND time slots on or off based on your campaign needs.
