Managing a segment

PreviousSaving the segmentNextSegment overview

Last updated 7 months ago

Once you’ve created a segment, it will appear in the segment list. Each segment will have a Status that indicates its current state:

Ready: This status indicates that the segment has been successfully created and is available for use. It means the segment meets all criteria and validations, and you can now assign it to campaigns or other marketing activities. A "Ready" segment is idle but can be activated at any time for future campaigns. It’s ideal for segments prepared in advance for upcoming events or seasonal campaigns. In Use: This status means that the segment is actively being used in one or more ongoing campaigns. It could be linked to email, WhatsApp, push notifications, or other types of campaigns. Once the segment is “In Use” you can not edit or delete the segment associated with any campaigns. Monitoring segments with this status ensures you can manage their performance effectively and make adjustments to your campaigns if needed.

Segment Actions

When you click the three dots next to a segment, you’ll find several options:

Edit Segment: Modify the rules and conditions of the segment.

Delete: Permanently delete the segment.

Duplicate: Create a copy of the segment with the same rules.

Archive: Archive the segment for future use without deleting it.

Refresh: Reload the segment after new data has been uploaded, ensuring the segment remains up-to-date.
