Email Campaign Report

This report provides a detailed analysis of email campaign performance across three critical areas: Overview, Delivery, and Engagement. By evaluating these metrics, we gain a comprehensive understanding of the campaign's successes and identify actionable areas for enhancement. This holistic review serves as a foundation for data-driven decision-making to optimize future campaigns and achieve higher efficiency in email marketing strategies.

Details Tab

This tab displays important metadata that helps you understand the configuration, status, and targeting of your campaign.

  • Campaign Name: This field displays the name of the email campaign.

  • Sender's Email: Shows the email address used to send the campaign.

  • Scheduling Type: Indicates whether the campaign was sent once or set on a recurring schedule.

  • Target Audience: Displays the group of users that were selected for this campaign.

  • Campaign Status: Reflects the current status of the campaign

  • Subject Line: Displays the subject line used for the email campaign.

  • Start Date: Shows the date and time when the campaign was first scheduled or initiated.

  • Sent On: Indicates the exact date and time the campaign was sent out.

  • DND Enabled: Indicates whether the "Do Not Disturb" (DND) feature was activated, ensuring that the campaign does not run during designated DND slots.

  • Frequency Capping Enabled: Shows if the frequency capping feature was turned on to limit the number of times an individual receives the campaign.

For Automated Campaigns

  • Scheduled At: Indicates the date and time of the next scheduled run.

  • Scheduled Frequency: Displays how often the campaign is set to run.

  • Execution Schedule: Provides detailed information about the specific days/dates the automated campaign will be sent.

  • End Date: Specifies the date when the automated campaign will stop running.

Preview Tab

The tab shows the exact template or email sent to recipients, allowing users to review the content and design as it appeared to the audience.

Overview

The Overview section summarizes essential performance metrics of your email campaign. It highlights key indicators such as Sent, Delivery Rate, Open Rate, Click-Through Rate, Bounce Rate, and Unsubscribe Rate. These metrics provide a clear picture of your campaign's reach, engagement, and potential areas for improvement. By reviewing this section, you can quickly understand how well your campaign performed and identify actionable insights for optimizing future campaigns.

Total number of emails sent successfully.

Delivery Rate

Emails successfully delivered to recipients' inboxes.

Open Rate

Percentage of delivered emails opened by recipients.

((Total unique opens) / (Total delivered emails)) * 100

Click-Through Rate

Percentage of delivered emails with at least one click.

((Total clicks) / (Total number of emails delivered)) * 100

Bounce Rate

Percentage of emails that failed to deliver due to technical issues or invalid addresses.

Unsubscribe Rate

Recipients who opted out of future emails.

Campaign Performance

The campaign performance graph is presented as a line graph, offering a clear and dynamic visualization of all key metrics over time. This graph is specifically designed to help users analyze trends, measure the effectiveness of email campaigns, and identify performance fluctuations.

The line graph allows users to filter specific metrics, such as Bounces, Clicks, Opens, Sent Emails, Spam Reports, Unique Clicks, Unique Opens, and Unsubscribes, enabling a tailored view of data.

Additionally, users can interact with the graph by selecting data points and observing how metrics change across various time intervals, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly summaries. This interactive functionality makes it easier to pinpoint critical moments and derive actionable insights.

Delivery

The Delivery Tab provides a comprehensive overview of your email campaign’s delivery performance. It includes key metrics that evaluate how well your emails reached recipients and highlights potential issues that could affect future campaigns. The tab also features the Email Delivery Breakdown Graph, which helps you understand the delivery funnel and track the number of users removed at each stage. Additionally, the Error Breakdown section offers more detailed insights into specific issues, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and optimize the performance of future campaigns.

Total number of emails that reached recipients' inboxes.

Bounced

The number of emails that failed to deliver due to technical issues or invalid email addresses.

Unsubscribed

The number of recipients who opted out of receiving future emails.

Reported Spam

The number of emails flagged as spam by recipients.

Failed

Emails that could not be sent due to system or technical issues.

Spam Rate

The percentage of emails flagged as spam by recipients.

Email delivery breakdown

The Email delivery breakdown graph provides an in-depth look at the delivery funnel, breaking down the journey of each email as it progresses through different stages. This section helps you understand how many users were removed or excluded at each stage of the delivery process, from initial sending to final delivery. By reviewing these stats, you can identify where potential issues may have occurred, such as bounced emails, unsubscribes, or emails flagged as spam, and take action to improve the efficiency of future campaigns. This analysis provides valuable insights into the overall health of your email delivery process.

Reachable through email

This represents the total number of users who have email addresses in the campaign's target audience.

After Unsubscribed/ Reported Spam Removal

This shows the number of users remaining after excluding those who have unsubscribed from future emails or flagged your previous messages as spam

After Invalid/Duplicate Removal

At this stage, users whose email addresses are invalid (e.g., incorrect format or non-existent) or duplicates (repeated addresses in the list) are excluded.

After Frequency Capping Removal

This stage removes any users who have reached their frequency cap, preventing over-saturation and improving the recipient's experience by avoiding spammy behavior

Sent

It’s the number of emails that have been dispatched to users who are eligible to receive them.

Delivered

This shows the number of emails successfully delivered to recipients' inboxes.

Error breakdown

The Error Breakdown section provides detailed insights into the reasons behind campaign delivery failures, helping you identify areas that may need improvement. This section categorizes delivery failures into different types, providing both the count and percentage of failures for each category.

The breakdown includes:

  • Reasons of Failure: Specifies the different causes behind delivery failures, such as invalid email addresses, technical issues, or other delivery-related problems.

  • Failure Count: The total number of emails that failed due to each specific reason.

  • Failure Percentage: The percentage of emails that failed due to a specific error, relative to the total number of failed emails.

Engagement

The Engagement section provides insights into how recipients interacted with your email, helping you evaluate its effectiveness. Key metrics like Total Opens, Unique Opens, and Click-Through Rates offer a view of overall engagement.The Time of Engagement graph shows when your audience is most active, helping optimize the timing of future campaigns.The Link Analysis section breaks down the performance of each URL, highlighting the most clicked links and their click-through rates, offering valuable insights into the content that resonated most with your audience.

Total Opened

The total number of times the email was opened by recipients.

Unique Opens:

The number of distinct recipients who opened the email

Click to Open Rate

The percentage of total opens that resulted in clicks

Total Clicked

The total number of clicks on links within the email

Unique Clicks

The number of distinct recipients who clicked at least one link

Link Analysis

The Link Analysis section provides a detailed breakdown of how recipients interacted with the links in your email, offering valuable insights into the performance of each URL. Key metrics included are:

  • URLs: The specific links embedded within your email content.

  • Total Clicks: The total number of clicks a particular URL received across all recipients, reflecting overall interest in that link.

  • Unique Clicks: The number of distinct recipients who clicked on a specific URL, indicating the unique audience engagement for that link.

  • Click-Through Rate (CTR): The percentage of recipients who clicked on a specific URL relative to the total number of email delivered. This metric helps measure the effectiveness and relevance of individual links in driving engagement.

Time of Engagement Graph

The Time of Engagement graph shows the time distribution of engagement, offering insights into when recipients are most likely to open and click your email. It includes two filters:

  • Day of the Week: Displays engagement patterns across different days, helping identify which days drive the highest opens and clicks.

  • Hour of the Day: Highlights the specific hours when recipients are most active, offering granular insights into peak engagement times.

By analyzing these filters, you can uncover trends in user behavior, such as the most responsive days and times, and use this data to schedule future campaigns strategically. This ensures your emails reach recipients at optimal times, improving open and click-through rates.
