Steps to Upload a CSV File

  1. Access the File Upload Page from Settings button

    • Go to the File Upload section of the platform.

    • Click on Upload CSV to initiate the upload process.

  1. Upload Your CSV File

  • You will be directed to a page where you can add your CSV file.

  • Drag and drop your CSV file into the designated box or click to browse your device and select the file.

  1. Select the Source

Choose the source of your data from the following options such as:

  • Ticketing

  • Website

  • App

  • Merchandise

You can also add a custom data source

  1. Add Description Add a brief description of your file type.

  2. Select Upload Type

Choose how you want to proceed with the upload:

  • Automated: For fully automated processing.

  • Assisted: For manual intervention during the mapping process.

When you select the Automated file upload option, you have to follow the steps given below to add the data in Organon

  1. Map the Data

    • After uploading the CSV, you will be directed to the data mapping page.

    • Map each attribute from your CSV to the appropriate field in the system.

      • For example: City in your CSV = City in the system.

    • Continue mapping all relevant fields.

    • Skip fields that you do not want to include in the upload.

  2. Validate and Confirm

    • Once the mapping is complete, click Validate to ensure the data matches the expected format and structure. Note: Once validated, you can not change the fields.

    • If the validation is successful, click Confirm to proceed with the upload.

  3. Return to Dashboard

    • After confirmation, you will be redirected to the Dashboard, where you can monitor the status of your upload.

      • In Progress: The file is being processed.

      • In Review: The uploaded data is being reviewed for accuracy.

      • Completed: The upload is successfully processed.

Best Practices for CSV Uploads

  • Ensure the CSV file follows the required format with proper headers.

  • Double-check data types to match expected formats (e.g., dates, numbers).

  • Remove any unnecessary or blank columns before uploading.

  • Choose the Automated option if you are confident about the data’s accuracy to save time.

Following this guide will help you complete your file uploads efficiently and keep track of their progress through the dashboard.
