Campaign Performance

The Campaign Performance Graph offers a comprehensive and interactive visualization of push notification metrics over time, helping users assess campaign effectiveness and detect performance shifts. This graph provides a detailed representation of key metrics, including Attempted, Failed, Notification-Clicked, Notification-Delivered, Sent, Unique Clicked, and Unique Delivered, with the option to select individual metrics or display them all at once for a broader perspective.

Users can engage with the graph by selecting specific data points and examining how these metrics evolve across different time frames, such as daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. This dynamic feature not only helps highlight trends but also empowers users to make data-driven decisions and optimize future push campaigns by identifying moments of high engagement or performance gaps.

Delivery

The Delivery Tab offers an in-depth analysis of your push notification campaign’s delivery performance. It presents key metrics that evaluate how efficiently your notifications reached users, while also uncovering any obstacles that could influence the success of future campaigns. The tab features the Push Delivery Breakdown Graph, which provides valuable insights into the delivery process, illustrating the flow of notifications as they are successfully delivered or are discarded at each stage.

In addition, the Error Breakdown section delves into the specific delivery challenges, offering a granular view of issues that need attention.

Key Metrics

Metric

Description

Sent

Total number of notifications successfully handed over to the push service.

Delivered

Number of notifications that successfully reached the target devices.

Unique Delivered

Push Delivery Breakdown

The Push Delivery Breakdown Graph offers a comprehensive view of the push notification delivery process, tracking each notification through its journey from start to finish. It begins with users reachable through push, then moves through stages such as removal after frequency capping, active device tokens, sent notifications, and finally, delivered notifications.

This breakdown helps you assess where users were excluded or where issues arose, offering insights into performance gaps. By analyzing these stages, you can identify factors that may have affected delivery, like inactive tokens or capping thresholds, and refine your approach to optimize future push campaigns.

Error Breakdown

The Error Breakdown provides a detailed view of the reasons why push notifications failed to be sent, helping you identify and resolve issues to improve future campaigns. It lists common failure causes, the corresponding failure count, and the failure percentage to show the extent of each issue.

Failure Count: The total number of failed notifications due to the specific reason.

Failure Percentage: The percentage of the total failed notifications that were attributed to this particular issue.

Engagement

The Engagement section provides key insights into how recipients interacted with your push notifications, allowing you to assess campaign effectiveness. Key metrics like Clicked and Unique Clicks offer a clear view of user interaction. The Time of Engagement graph displays when users are most active, helping optimize the timing of future campaigns for maximum impact.

Time of Engagement Graph

The Time of Engagement graph provides valuable insights into when your recipients are most likely to engage with your push notifications. It displays click data across both time of day and day of the week, helping you identify peak engagement periods.
