Setting Up Mailjet as the Email Service Provider on Organon

The integration of Mailjet as an Email Service Provider with Organon enables seamless email campaign management and real-time tracking. With this configuration, you can leverage Mailjet's robust emailing infrastructure alongside Organon’s advanced campaign tools to send targeted emails, monitor performance, and track engagement events efficiently..
Log in to your Mailjet account
Navigate to Account Settings → Domains & DNS.
Click Add a Domain and enter the domain you plan to use for sending emails (e.g., yourcompany.com).
Mailjet will display the required DNS records for authentication, including:
SPF Record: Authorizes Mailjet to send emails on behalf of your domain.
DKIM Record: Cryptographically ensures your emails are legitimate and tamper-proof.
Optionally, configure DMARC for enhanced protection.
Log in to your DNS management platform (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudflare, or your hosting provider).
Add the following records:
SPF: Create a TXT record using the value provided by Mailjet.
DKIM: Create a CNAME record for Mailjet’s DKIM key.
Return to the Domains & DNS section in Mailjet.
Click Verify Domain.
Wait for DNS propagation (this may take a few minutes to several hours). Ensure the domain status shows as verified before proceeding.
To connect Mailjet, you need your API credentials. Follow these steps:
Copy the following:
API Key
API Secret Key
Log in to your Organon account.
Go to the Integrations section.
Click Set Up Integration next to Email Service Provider Configuration.
Select Mailjet from the list of service providers.
Paste the API Key and API Secret Key in their respective fields
Click Save to complete the configuration.
To track email events such as deliveries, opens, and bounces, you need to configure a webhook in Mailjet.
Copy the Webhook URL provided by Organon during the Mailjet setup.
In your Mailjet account, go to Account Settings → Event Tracking & Webhooks.
Click Add a New Webhook.
Paste the Webhook URL in the appropriate field.
Enable the following events to track:
Sent
Delivered
Opened
Clicked
Unsubscribed
Bounced (Soft and Hard)
Spam Complaint
Click Save to apply the changes.
To ensure that Mailjet is correctly integrated with Organon, follow these verification steps:
Send a test email from Organon.
Check Mailjet’s Event Logs to confirm that events (e.g., Sent, Delivered, Opened) are being recorded.
Verify that the email events are reflected in the Organon platform.
Invalid API Key or Secret? Double-check that you copied and pasted the correct credentials from Mailjet.
Emails Not Sending? Ensure Mailjet is not blocking emails due to policy restrictions.
Events Not Capturing? Verify that the webhook URL is correctly set in Mailjet and events are enabled.
Delayed Emails? Check Mailjet’s status page for any service disruptions.
