Steps to Using Email

Viewing and Controlling Your Email Campaigns

Last updated 6 months ago

When you navigate to the Email Campaigns section, you’ll see a comprehensive list of all your email campaigns, whether they are sent, in draft, or currently running. For each campaign, you'll be able to view:

  • Status: The status bar shows you the current status of the email campaign, such as in Drafts, Completed, Failed, Suspended etc.

  • Last Updated: The most recent date the campaign was edited, allowing you to keep track of the latest updates.

Status Bar Filters

On the top with the help of filters you can filter your email campaigns based on their status:

  • Drafts: Campaigns that are saved but not yet scheduled or sent. These can be edited and finalised before publishing. If you create a campaign and are yet to finalise or send it, it stays in Drafts until you're ready to proceed.

  • Scheduled: Campaigns that are set to be sent at a specific time in the future. You can still modify or cancel them before they are dispatched. Once you schedule the campaign to be sent at a future date or time, it moves to Scheduled.

  • Completed: Campaigns that have been successfully sent to all recipients. Reports and analytics become available after completion. When the campaign is successfully sent to all recipients, it moves to Completed, and reports become available.

  • Suspended: If you schedule a campaign for a later date, you can suspend it anytime before it gets published.

  • Failed: Campaigns that could not be sent due to errors, such as incorrect recipient data or technical issues. These campaigns may require troubleshooting. If the campaign couldn’t be sent due to errors, it goes to Failed.

  • Archived: Older campaigns that are no longer active but stored for reference. Archived campaigns cannot be resumed but can be duplicated. You can archive older campaigns that are no longer active for future reference.

  • Paused: Campaigns that have been temporarily stopped but are expected to resume soon. Useful for adjusting content or fixing issues before continuing. You can pause a running campaign for adjustments, or pause temporarily.

  • Stopped: Campaigns that were intentionally ended and will not continue. These campaigns remain accessible for review and duplication. You can stop a running campaign

  • Running: Campaigns currently in progress, actively being sent to recipients according to the schedule or batch settings. These filters help you quickly locate specific campaigns and manage them more efficiently.

Advanced Options

On the right-hand side, you'll find an Options Button that provides advanced controls for each campaign. These options include:

  • Duplicate Email: Create a copy of the email campaign for reuse or modification.

  • Archive Email: Move the campaign to your archives to declutter your active list.

  • View Report: Access detailed reports on the campaign's performance.

  • Preview: See how the email looks before sending it out.

  • Send a Test: Send a test version of the email to check its appearance and functionality internally.
