Fans
Overview
In this section we’ll go through how your fan data is gathered and interacts with the Organon platform. Here you'll learn how we identify a fan as unique and how you can access individual profiles.
Ways to add Fan Data
You can add fans to Organon by sharing CSV Files, API's, Database Sync or using our Form Builder. Each method has its own benefits and use cases. Once the data is shared, we extract, cleanse and transform the data in ways that helps you access the unified fan view on our platform.
CSV
Mainly used for one time manual load of customer data. Usually historical data or custom data sources.
API
Used for daily loads or online data sources to capture data at regular intervals which could be automated.
Database Sync
Sync fan info from your databases on a regular interval, keeping your workspace up to date with data from other backend systems
Form Builder
Real time data capture using Organon's form builder which allows for Fan Engagement and Sign ups via social platforms, club website and microsites.
Unique Identifier
A fan with a combination of Email Address and Phone is considered unique. Fan information gets automatically updated when both data points match but in any other case a new fan is added to Organon.
The above method is being considered based on the variability of the data we receive in the sport and live events business.
We also run additional optimisation and deduplication algorithms on a monthly basis to maintain and better the data that is stored.
Fan Profile
In your Organon workspace, there is a section dedicated to individually accessing your fan profiles. This is used to understand the behaviors of a specific fan which can be looked up using their Email address or Phone number.
Based on the data collected, each Fan profile consists of Demographic, Purchase Behavior patterns, Engagement timelines and the number of interactions they have with your Organisation.
